GE Money Platinum Business MasterCard®
You can choose the credit card and revolve the balance month-to-month, or you can choose the charge card and pay your balance in full each month. Generally, a company officer signs the application, and this person is the Authorizing Officer on the account. A company also selects a Program Manager to make decisions about its credit program. This person can be the Authorizing Officer, or another designated employee, such as an Accounts Payable representative. A company can have multiple Program Managers, but they need to be listed officially on the account to make decisions for the company. The Authorizing Officer also can dictate changes on the account. Your company will receive one bill – or Statement – after each monthly billing cycle. Charges will be listed by cardholder on your Statement. The “Total Amount Due” shown on your Statement is due from the Company within 25 days following the end of the billing cycle. Individual cardholders will receive transaction memo Statements listing their charges. Federal law requires us to obtain, verify and record information that identifies you when you open an account. We will use your name, address, date of birth, Social Security number and other information for this purpose. The Social Security number combined with the birth date of the cardholder also provides a powerful way to guard against identity theft, especially when calling the customer service department. Yes. You can limit the dollar amount and number of transactions your employees can charge. Or, you can set daily limits and restrict certain purchase categories. You can check your business expenses anytime online by logging in to www.productivitycard.com/gemoney/prodonlinelogin.htm. You also can download data into accounting programs, such as QuickBooks®. Yes. Once approved, you can sign up for our Productivity Points SM program. You can earn one Productivity Point for every $1 you spend on your Business Platinum MasterCard. (Point accumulation does not extend to cash advances or fees. See program Terms and Conditions for details.) You can redeem points for merchandise, travel, cash or gift certificates. The Productivity Points program is optional and has an annual fee of $60. There is no annual fee for the Credit Card account. The Charge Card account has an annual fee structure starting at $45 per card, for 1-9 cards. No. You will need to pay off your existing card first. However, you can use one of our convenience checks to pay off your other credit card. Convenience checks are similar to cash advances, with a 3% fee assessed. See the cash advance section of the application Terms and Conditions for more information. When you apply for our program, include the names of additional cardholders on the supplemental “Request for Cards Form.” Once approved, employees will receive their cards at your business address. We will consolidate employee charges on your monthly Statement, and cardholders will receive monthly memo Statements detailing their charges. |
