GE Money and National Tour Association Travel Ahead with Consumer Finance Program

NTA EXTENDS INDUSTRY LEADING CREDIT CARD AGREEMENT

KETTERING, OHIO — October 23, 2007 — GE Money and the National Tour Association (NTA), a trade organization for tourism professionals, today announced a five-year extension of the GE Money Travel Finance Program available through NTA’s more than 600 tour operators in the United States, Canada and overseas.

The NTA credit card program, managed by GE Money’s Sales Finance unit, launched as a pilot in July 2006 for the purchase of packaged tours, vacations and other travel-related expenses. The first association-based program for the travel industry, the NTA program provides a menu of offers and promotions to fit various tour operator markets. In addition to offering travelers deferred interest and extended payment financing on one-time trips or ongoing travel, NTA tour operators receive point-of-sale and other marketing materials and equipment, as well as training on how to effectively use the finance program.

“During the first year, when several tour operators piloted the program, it enables our tour operators to offer a greater choice of payment options and customers to take the trips of their dreams today, “ said NTA Chairman and CEO Randy Julian. “The card is a great option for people to upgrade their travel plans, track expenses and manage payments.”

NTA tour operators serve students, baby boomers, seniors, groups and independent travelers, and create packages that can be customized to any interest or need — all with the professional integrity and viability that comes with NTA membership.

"GE is excited to partner with the NTA to extend this flexible service offering," said Dave Luster, vice president and Travel Market Leader for GE Money - Sales Finance. "Providing a dedicated credit program exclusively for travel has proven to provide NTA members with a competitive advantage, and we’re confident in the program’s continued success."
